This original model combines steam and infrared heat with red light therapy in a 31.5-inch wide tent. It reaches 130°F quickly and includes a remote control for precise adjustments. You can find models with wider dimensions for added comfort or different color options. Some picks focus on heavy-duty frames, while others emphasize quick setup in small spaces. All listed saunas include red light therapy and folding chairs for convenience. This guide helps you compare these practical differences to find the right fit for your home.
Our top pick: ABSCONDO Portable Infrared Sauna Box with Red Light.
How each alternative compares
Viconor Portable Infrared Steam Sauna Tent
The Viconor Portable Infrared Steam Sauna Tent shares the same 3L capacity and foldable tent design as the ABSCONDO model. It also includes red light therapy and a folding chair. However, the Viconor listing does not specify a remote control, whereas the ABSCONDO offers 15-level heating control via remote. The ABSCONDO provides more precise temperature and timer adjustments. You should choose the Viconor if you prefer a simpler setup without the need for detailed remote settings. Both units use steam and infrared heating for similar therapeutic effects. The Viconor is a solid option if you want comparable features with potentially fewer controls.
Noerishia Portable Steam Sauna Box
The Noerishia Portable Steam Sauna Box is slightly wider at 32 inches compared to the ABSCONDO's 31.5 inches. It offers the same 1200W heating power and red light therapy with 660nm and 850nm wavelengths. Like the ABSCONDO, it includes a remote control and folding chair. The Noerishia is described as having a robust frame, which may appeal to users seeking extra durability. The ABSCONDO highlights specific safety features like anti-dry burning and leakage protection. If you prioritize a slightly larger interior footprint and heavy-duty construction, the Noerishia is a strong alternative. Both models provide professional-grade light therapy wavelengths for targeted relief.
iTHERAU Portable Infrared Steam Sauna
The iTHERAU Portable Infrared Steam Sauna has the same 32-inch width and 71-inch height as the Noerishia, making it slightly wider than the ABSCONDO. It includes red light therapy and a remote control, matching the ABSCONDO's feature set. However, the iTHERAU is positioned as a budget option. It offers solid heat output for solo users who prioritize easy storage. The ABSCONDO emphasizes fast heating and specific safety protections. If you are looking for a cost-effective solution with similar controls and light therapy, the iTHERAU fits well. It gives up some of the premium safety details but retains the core functionality for relaxation and detox.
I-THERA-U Portable Infrared Sauna Box

The ABSCONDO provides more detailed heating levels and safety features. You should consider the I-THERA-U if you want a straightforward experience with essential controls. It provides similar therapeutic benefits through red light and steam. Enhulk P11 Portable Steam Sauna Box, 43 in
The Enhulk P11 Portable Steam Sauna Box is significantly wider at 43.3 inches, offering much more interior space than the ABSCONDO's 31.5 inches. It is designed for taller users seeking spacious steam heat. Unlike the ABSCONDO, the Enhulk does not list infrared heating or red light therapy, focusing instead on traditional steam. It includes a remote control and folding chair. The ABSCONDO provides combined steam and infrared therapy. If you prefer pure steam heat and need extra room, the Enhulk is the better choice. It sacrifices the infrared benefits but delivers a more expansive sauna experience. The Enhulk is ideal for those who do not require light therapy.
SOARFLY 71-Inch Infrared Steam Sauna Box
The SOARFLY 71-Inch Infrared Steam Sauna Box is 32 inches wide and 71 inches tall, similar to other alternatives but wider than the ABSCONDO. It includes red light therapy and a folding chair. Frequently asked questions
Which portable sauna is best for tall users?
The Enhulk P11 offers the most spacious interior among these alternatives. Its width measures 43.3 inches, providing significantly more room than the standard 32-inch models. The height remains at 70.9 inches, which suits most adults. This model uses steam heating rather than infrared, making it ideal for those who prefer traditional heat in a larger tent.
Do these saunas include remote controls?
Most models feature remote controls for convenient operation. The ABSCONDO, Noerishia, iTHERAU, I-THERA-U, and Enhulk P11 all include this feature. The Viconor and SOARFLY listings do not explicitly mention a remote in their specifications. You should check the product details carefully if remote operation is a priority for your setup routine.
What is the water capacity of these tents?
Nearly all listed models share a 3L water capacity. This includes the ABSCONDO, Viconor, Noerishia, iTHERAU, I-THERA-U, and SOARFLY units. The Enhulk P11 also lists a 3L capacity. This standard size allows for consistent steam generation during a typical session without requiring frequent refills during use.
Are red light therapy panels included?
Red light therapy is a common feature in these infrared and steam combos. The ABSCONDO, Viconor, Noerishia, iTHERAU, and I-THERA-U models all list this feature. The Enhulk P11 does not mention red light therapy, focusing instead on pure steam heat. The SOARFLY model includes it despite being primarily infrared.
Which model is the most compact?
The ABSCONDO, Viconor, Noerishia, iTHERAU, I-THERA-U, and SOARFLY models share identical external dimensions. They measure 31.5 to 32 inches in width and length, with a height of approximately 71 inches. The Enhulk P11 is wider at 43.3 inches, making it less compact. All models are foldable for easy storage.

Most units combine steam and infrared heating for versatility. The ABSCONDO, Viconor, Noerishia, iTHERAU, and I-THERA-U offer both methods. The SOARFLY lists only infrared heating. The Enhulk P11 focuses exclusively on steam heat. This distinction matters if you prefer the dry heat of infrared or the moist heat of steam.
