Who it fits
Good fit for
This sauna suits individuals with limited floor space who want a dedicated wellness corner. Its compact 35.4-inch footprint fits well in master bathrooms, basements, or home gyms. The WiFi app is ideal for users who prefer setting temperatures before entering. The Okoume wood and tongue-and-groove assembly make it a good choice for those seeking easy setup without sacrificing material quality. If you want a quiet, tech-enabled relaxation spot, this model aligns with your needs.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you need a traditional steam sauna, as this unit only offers dry heat. Couples or larger groups will find the single-person capacity too restrictive. If you prefer manual dials over smartphone apps, the digital control might feel less intuitive. Additionally, those seeking a larger interior for stretching or lying down will find the 35.4-inch width too narrow. The lack of a traditional heater means it heats differently than conventional units.
Verdict: The Benovo sauna delivers efficient infrared heating and smart controls in a compact, durable Okoume wood frame. It is a practical choice for solo users with limited space who value convenience and modern features.
Benovo Sauna Key Specs Explained
Heater Power: 1100W
This wattage indicates the energy input for the heating elements. It provides sufficient heat output for a single-user cabin without requiring heavy electrical infrastructure. You get consistent warmth that is adequate for typical home use. It balances efficiency with performance, making it suitable for standard household circuits in most rooms.
Wood Type: Okoume wood
Okoume is a durable hardwood often used in sauna construction. It offers better structural integrity and resistance to warping compared to softer woods like hemlock. This material choice ensures the cabin maintains its shape over time. You benefit from a longer-lasting interior that resists moisture damage and provides a stable environment for repeated heating cycles.
Dimensions: 35.4" x 35.4"
These interior measurements define the floor space available for sitting or standing. The square footprint provides adequate shoulder room for one adult without feeling cramped. It is compact enough to fit in small bedrooms or hallways. You can place it in tight spaces where larger units would not fit, maximizing utility in limited square footage.
Control Type: WiFi App, LED panel
Dual control allows you to manage settings remotely or directly on the unit. The WiFi app lets you pre-heat the sauna from another room or outside. The LED panel offers manual adjustments if needed. This flexibility ensures you can start your session quickly without entering the cabin to change temperatures, enhancing convenience and comfort.

Before You Buy This Sauna
This compact unit fits well in tight spaces, but you must check your electrical setup first. The 1100W heater draws significant power. Ensure your circuit can handle the load without tripping breakers. You also need a reliable Wi-Fi signal for the app control. Without stable connectivity, you lose the ability to pre-heat the cabin remotely. The Bluetooth speakers require your own device for music or podcasts. Keep a smartphone nearby to manage sessions. For upkeep, wipe down the Okoume wood interior regularly to remove sweat and salt. This prevents odor buildup and preserves the wood grain. The tempered glass door should be cleaned with a non-abrasive solution to maintain clarity. Compared to larger models, this single-person sauna offers efficient heat for quick sessions. It suits users who prioritize convenience and space savings over group capacity. Verify your floor can support the weight and that the 63-inch height fits your ceiling clearance comfortably.
