Who it fits

Key specs explained

Wood Type: Canadian cedar

Canadian cedar offers natural stability and durability, making it a reliable choice for outdoor structures. This wood resists warping and decay better than many alternatives, ensuring the sauna maintains its shape over time. You benefit from a material that withstands weather exposure without requiring frequent maintenance. When shopping, compare this to cheaper softwoods that may degrade faster in humid environments.

Dimensions: 70.86" x 70.86" x 70.86"

These dimensions create a square footprint with consistent height, optimizing internal volume for heat retention. The compact design suits four to six people while fitting into standard backyard spaces. You get efficient heating because the air volume is limited, allowing the stove to reach target temperatures quickly. Check your available yard space to ensure this footprint fits comfortably alongside other outdoor furniture.

Heater Power: 6KW

A 6KW electric stove provides substantial heat output for the specified capacity of four to six users. This power level ensures the sauna reaches operating temperature in a reasonable timeframe, even in cooler outdoor conditions. You will experience consistent warmth without the stove struggling to maintain heat. Compare this to lower wattage units that may take too long to heat larger barrel saunas effectively.

Voltage: 220V

This sauna requires a 220V electrical connection, which is standard for high-power heating elements. You must verify your home has the appropriate circuit and outlet before installation. Standard 110V household outlets cannot support a 6KW heater safely. Ensure your electrical setup meets these requirements to avoid tripping breakers or damaging the stove during operation.

Placement: Outdoor

This unit is designed specifically for outdoor use, featuring an asphalt roof for excellent waterproofing. You can place it in your backyard or other sheltered indoor spaces like warehouses. The design prioritizes weather resistance, protecting the internal wood from rain and moisture. Consider your local climate when choosing this placement, as outdoor exposure demands robust materials and proper drainage.

Design and build details

According to the listing, the sauna is constructed from Canadian cedar. This wood type is selected for its stability and durability, which helps the structure withstand outdoor conditions. The roof features asphalt shingles, providing a waterproof barrier that protects the interior from rain and snow. You can place this unit in your backyard or other large indoor spaces like warehouses, provided you have sufficient room. The barrel design is noted for its efficient heat retention, allowing the space to stay warm with less energy.

The kit includes a TOULE 6KW electric stove that requires a 220V power supply. This heater is ETL certified and uses volcanic stones to generate steam quickly. The sauna measures 70.86 inches on each side, creating a square footprint that accommodates four to six people. This layout ensures reasonable space for users while preserving heat effectively. The listing also mentions that the sauna is available in styles with or without a porch, and in materials like Canadian Hemlock.

Included accessories consist of an electric stove, volcanic stones, a thermometer, an hourglass, a barrel, and a spoon. These items support the basic operation and monitoring of your sauna sessions. The wood color remains natural, highlighting the grain of the cedar. This straightforward design focuses on function, offering a durable outdoor structure that heats up efficiently for regular use.

Setup and daily operation

You will receive a wooden sauna kit that requires assembly. The listing includes the sauna body, an electric stove, volcanic stones, a thermometer, an hourglass, a barrel, and a spoon. You must install the unit on a level surface. The structure measures 70.86 inches on each side, creating a square footprint. This dimension accommodates four to six people. The design is intended for outdoor placement, such as a backyard. The roof uses asphalt for waterproofing. You can also place it indoors if you have enough space, like in a warehouse.

The heating system relies on a TOULE 6KW electric stove. This unit requires a 220V power connection. You need to ensure your electrical setup matches this voltage before installation. The stove is ETL certified. It includes volcanic stones that help it heat up quickly. This power level is matched to the sauna’s size. The 6KW output generates significant heat and steam for the four to six person capacity.

Daily use involves monitoring the temperature with the included thermometer. You can track session length with the hourglass. The Canadian cedar material helps retain heat efficiently. The barrel design supports this thermal stability. You add water to the hot stones to create steam. The included barrel and spoon assist in this process. The wood construction requires standard outdoor maintenance to preserve its durability and stability over time.

Before You Buy This Sauna

Before adding this Benovo kit to your outdoor space, verify your electrical infrastructure. The 6KW heater requires a dedicated 220V circuit. You must ensure your home’s electrical panel can support this load without overloading existing lines. An electrician should confirm compatibility before assembly begins. You also need to choose between the porch and no porch styles. Each option changes the footprint slightly, so measure your yard carefully. The Canadian cedar construction demands basic upkeep. You should apply a protective oil or sealant annually to maintain the wood’s stability and prevent weathering. This preserves the natural durability that makes cedar a strong choice for outdoor use. When comparing this barrel design to other 1 options, consider your available square footage. The 70.86-inch square base fits well in compact backyards, but you must leave room for ventilation. This sauna suits those who prioritize rapid heating and a compact, efficient layout over larger, traditional cabin styles.

Check before you buy

• Confirm your electrical panel can support a dedicated 220V circuit for the 6KW stove.
• Measure your outdoor space to ensure the 70.86-inch square footprint fits with clearance.
• Decide if you need the porch style or the simpler no porch version.
• Plan for annual cedar maintenance using protective oil to preserve wood stability.
