Blue Wave Heat Wave Coronado 2-Person Hemlock Infrared Sauna Alternatives: 6 Similar Picks Compared

How each alternative compares

DAIMOT 2-Person Full Spectrum Sauna

The DAIMOT 2-Person Full Spectrum Sauna offers both infrared and traditional heating, whereas the Coronado uses only infrared carbon heaters. This dual-mode approach allows for deeper heat penetration if you prefer higher temperatures. It also includes integrated red light therapy panels, a feature absent in the Coronado. The DAIMOT is slightly narrower at 36 inches compared to the Coronado’s 39.25-inch depth, making it a tighter fit for some rooms. Both use hemlock wood, but the DAIMOT’s curved seating may provide more ergonomic comfort. Choose this if you want traditional heat options and therapeutic lighting alongside standard infrared warmth.

BNEHS 1-2 Person Hemlock Infrared Sauna

The BNEHS 1-2 Person Hemlock Infrared Sauna shares the same exterior dimensions as the Coronado, measuring approximately 47.3 by 39.4 inches. It also uses hemlock wood and infrared heating. However, this model emphasizes fast heating and air purification, which the Coronado does not explicitly list. The Coronado includes chromotherapy lighting and an oxygen ionizer, features not mentioned for this BNEHS unit. Both support one to two people. If you prioritize rapid warm-up times and cleaner air quality over the specific lighting and ionization features of the Coronado, this alternative provides a comparable footprint with different internal focuses.

BNEHS 1-2 Person Infrared Hemlock Sauna

This BNEHS model matches the Coronado in size, wood type, and infrared heating technology. It is designed for quick heating in small indoor spaces, similar to the Coronado’s compact design. The Coronado includes a high-quality sound system with AUX input, while this BNEHS unit also offers audio features. The main difference lies in the specific heating speed and internal configuration. Both are 1-2 person capacity units built from hemlock. If you need a sauna that fits the same spatial requirements but potentially warms up faster, this option serves as a direct functional alternative. It lacks the explicit mention of chromotherapy lighting found in the Coronado.

HeatWave Buena Vista Hemlock 1-2 Person Sauna

The Blue Wave Buena Vista is a smaller sibling to the Coronado, measuring 35.3 by 35.8 inches, compared to the Coronado’s 47.75 by 39.25 inches. It retains the hemlock wood construction and infrared heating. Like the Coronado, it includes physical controls and built-in audio. However, its significantly smaller footprint makes it better suited for tighter spaces. The Coronado offers more interior volume for two people, while the Buena Vista is also a 1-2 person unit but feels more compact. If you want the same brand reliability and feature set but have limited floor space, the Buena Vista provides a scaled-down version of the Coronado experience.

OUTEXER 1-Person Hemlock Infrared Sauna

The OUTEXER 1-Person Hemlock Infrared Sauna is designed for solo users, with dimensions of 33.5 by 33.5 inches. This is substantially smaller than the Coronado, which accommodates one to two people. Both use hemlock wood and far infrared heating. The OUTEXER includes basic entertainment features, similar to the Coronado’s audio system. However, it lacks the Coronado’s chromotherapy lighting and oxygen ionizer. Its compact size makes it ideal for individuals with very limited indoor space. If you are a solo user who does not need the extra room or specific wellness features of the Coronado, this smaller unit offers a simpler, space-efficient alternative.

KUNSANA 2-3 Person Corner Hemlock Infrared Sauna

The KUNSANA 2-3 Person Corner Hemlock Infrared Sauna is designed for corner installations, measuring 47.3 by 47.3 inches. This square footprint differs from the Coronado’s rectangular shape. It supports app control and includes Bluetooth speakers, whereas the Coronado uses physical controls and an AUX input. Both use hemlock wood and infrared heating. The KUNSANA also features chromotherapy lighting, matching one of the Coronado’s key amenities. If you have a corner space and prefer smart app control over physical buttons, this model provides a modern alternative. It offers a different layout but similar core heating and wellness features.
