Key specs explained for INFRADELUX
Heater Power: 6KW
This wattage indicates a robust heating system capable of warming the barrel structure quickly. A 6KW output is suitable for larger units or colder outdoor environments. It helps you achieve a traditional sauna temperature efficiently. You benefit from consistent heat distribution, which is essential for deep sweating. When shopping, compare this to lower wattage heaters in smaller saunas to ensure adequate power for your space.
Heating Type: Traditional
This specification means the sauna uses a stove and stones to generate dry heat. It mimics the classic sauna experience rather than using infrared panels. You will enjoy a high-temperature environment that promotes intense perspiration and relaxation. This style is ideal if you prefer the intense heat of a traditional Finnish sauna. Compare this to infrared models if you seek lower temperatures or specific therapeutic benefits.
Person Capacity: 4
The interior is designed to comfortably seat four adults. This capacity allows for family use or social gatherings in your backyard. The barrel shape maximizes floor space, ensuring enough room for movement and seating. You benefit from a shared wellness experience without feeling cramped. When comparing, check the interior dimensions to ensure adequate headroom and elbow space for all users.
Wood Type: Red Cedar
Red cedar is a durable, aromatic wood that resists decay and insects. It handles outdoor moisture well, making it suitable for backyard placement. The natural scent adds to the relaxing atmosphere during your sessions. You benefit from a long-lasting structure that requires minimal maintenance compared to softer woods. Compare this to pine or hemlock to see if you prefer the distinct cedar aroma and durability.
Features: Waterproof asphalt shingle roof
This roofing material provides reliable protection against rain and snow. It ensures the interior remains dry and the wood structure stays intact. You benefit from reduced worry about weather damage during seasonal changes. The asphalt shingles are a common, effective solution for outdoor durability. When shopping, verify that your chosen sauna includes weatherproof roofing to protect your investment from the elements.
Design and Build Quality
According to the listing, the INFRADELUX sauna uses red cedar for its construction. This wood type is chosen for its natural resistance to rot and insects. The barrel design helps circulate heat more evenly than flat walls. This shape also reduces the time needed to reach your desired temperature. The structure is built for outdoor placement in your backyard. You get a waterproof asphalt shingle roof to protect the interior from rain and snow. This feature adds durability for year-round use in changing weather conditions.
The dimensions listed are 59 by 79 by 73 inches. The width is noted as 65 inches, with a length of 72 inches. This footprint provides a compact yet spacious area for up to four people. The barrel shape maximizes seating comfort while keeping the overall size manageable for most yards. The unit is designed as a traditional sauna, relying on the 6KW Harvia heater to generate dry heat. There are no electronic controls or digital displays mentioned in the specs. You will likely manage the temperature manually using the heater’s standard controls.
The listing notes that sauna stones are not included. You will need to purchase them separately to complete the setup. The cedar finish is natural, requiring basic maintenance to keep the wood looking good outdoors. This build quality suits users who want a classic, durable sauna without complex electronics.

This feature allows you to leave the sauna outside year-round without moving it indoors. The red cedar construction offers natural durability against rot and insects. This means you do not need to worry about frequent maintenance for the wood itself. The 6KW Harvia heater delivers traditional heat. This powerful unit ensures consistent warming for up to four people. You can expect efficient heat circulation due to the barrel design. This shape minimizes cold spots compared to flat-walled saunas. The unit measures 59 by 79 by 73 inches. This footprint requires a flat, stable outdoor surface. You must ensure the area can support the weight and dimensions. The warranty covers personal use only. Commercial or rental applications are not covered. This restriction applies to your everyday use. You must keep the sauna for private home enjoyment. The combination of cedar and the asphalt roof creates a robust outdoor environment. Before You Buy This Barrel Sauna
Before you purchase this INFRADELUX 4 Person Cedar Barrel Sauna, verify your outdoor electrical setup. A 6KW heater requires a dedicated circuit with the correct amperage and voltage. Ensure your backyard location can support the unit’s weight and dimensions. The listing notes it is a starter package, but you must buy sauna stones separately. You should also check local zoning laws for outdoor structures. Red cedar needs periodic sealing to maintain its weather resistance against rain and sun. The asphalt shingle roof helps with drainage, but you should clear debris regularly. This model fits well if you want a traditional heat experience in a compact footprint. It suits those who prioritize efficient heat circulation over digital controls. Compare this barrel design against flat-wall units if you have limited space. The barrel shape often retains heat better, which may lower energy usage over time. Always confirm the warranty covers personal use only, as commercial applications are excluded. Proper maintenance will extend the life of the cedar and the heater.
