Who it fits

Key specs for this sauna

Heater Power: 1000W

This wattage indicates the steamer’s energy output. A 1000-watt unit generates steam quickly, reducing the wait time before you can start your session. It provides consistent heat for a single user. You should compare this to lower-wattage models that may take longer to reach the desired temperature, ensuring a more efficient start to your routine.

Heating Type: Steam, infrared red light

This sauna combines two heating methods. The steam provides traditional heat and humidity, while the 660nm red light offers targeted therapy. This dual approach allows you to switch between or combine heat types. It suits buyers who want the benefits of infrared without the high cost of a dedicated infrared cabin, offering versatility in a single compact unit.

Person Capacity: 1

This unit is designed for one adult at a time. The interior dimensions support a single user comfortably without overcrowding. You cannot share this sauna with a partner or child. This capacity makes it ideal for individuals with limited space or those who prefer private sessions. It differs from larger models that accommodate multiple people simultaneously.

Dimensions: 33.9 x 33.9 x 65.8 in

These measurements define the footprint and height of the sauna. The square base fits into corners or small rooms, while the height accommodates an average adult seated or reclining. You can fold it for storage when not in use. Compare these dimensions to traditional saunas to see how much floor space you save with this portable design.

Control Type: Steamer control panel, remote control

You can adjust settings using the built-in panel or the included remote. This allows you to change time and intensity levels without opening the zipper or reaching inside. It adds convenience during a session. You should check if your chosen model includes the remote, as some basic units may only offer manual panel controls for adjustments.

Design and Build Details

The listing describes the Smartmak BS9010 as a portable, single-person steam sauna box. It measures 33.9 by 33.9 by 65.8 inches. This compact footprint allows it to fit in standard indoor rooms without taking up excessive space. You can fold the unit for storage when not in use. The structure uses a detachable metal pipe frame. This design supports quick setup, which the listing claims takes only five minutes. The exterior is made of waterproof fabric. This material helps retain heat and prevents moisture loss during your session. A carry bag is included, which aids in moving the sauna to different locations.

The interior layout includes a foldable sauna chair. According to the listing, this chair supports approximately 260 pounds. You may want to place a towel on the seat for added comfort. The tent features three adjustable vision windows. You can choose to keep them fully enclosed or open the front window for fresh air. Control is handled via a steamer panel or a remote. You can set the heat level across 16 stages and the timer up to 99 minutes. The unit also includes a 660nm red light panel. This feature is integrated into the design for relaxation. The overall build focuses on portability and ease of use for home environments.

Setup and everyday use

Setup is designed for speed. The listing states it takes only five minutes to assemble. You connect the detachable metal pipe frame to create a stable structure. The waterproof fabric enclosure uses a double-headed zipper for easy access. This design allows you to enter and exit without difficulty. You can fold the unit for storage or transport when not in use. The included portable carry bag supports this mobility. You can set up the sauna in any indoor room. Daily operation relies on the 1000-watt steamer and infrared red light. You control the session via the steamer’s control panel or the included remote. The panel lets you adjust heat levels across 16 settings. You can also set the timer for up to 99 minutes. The steamer includes safety features like anti-dry, anti-leakage, and anti-explosion protection. It also has automatic power cut protection. The herbal box distributes heat evenly through a 360-degree expansion steam outlet. You can adjust the front window to breathe fresh air if needed. The vision window offers either an open view or full enclosure. A foldable chair is included, supporting approximately 260 pounds. The interior measures 33.9 by 33.9 inches, providing ample leg room. You should place a towel on the chair for comfort. This setup allows for consistent, controlled sessions at home.

Before you buy this sauna

You need a standard electrical outlet near your chosen spot. The 1000-watt steamer draws significant power. Ensure your circuit can handle the load without tripping breakers. You should also gather a few towels. The listing suggests placing one on the chair for comfort and hygiene. Keep a water source nearby to refill the 3-liter tank during longer sessions. Check your room’s ventilation. While the fabric retains heat well, you will need fresh air. The front window opens, but good airflow prevents stuffiness. This unit fits alongside larger infrared cabins as a compact, quick-setup alternative. It suits those prioritizing portability and speed over traditional wood-burning heat. Verify your floor space can accommodate its 33.9-inch square footprint. The foldable design helps, but you need clear access for setup. Consider if you want infrared therapy alongside steam. This model combines both, which may influence your choice against single-function units.

Check before you buy

• Verify your electrical circuit can handle 1000 watts safely.
• Ensure you have space for the 33.9-inch square base.
• Confirm you can refill the 3-liter tank easily.
• Check if you prefer combined steam and red light therapy.
