Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider this sauna if you want a spacious steam experience without installing a permanent unit. The 31x70 inch footprint fits well in bedrooms, living rooms, or bathrooms. You will appreciate the remote control for adjusting temperature and time from inside. The transparent door helps those who feel claustrophobic in dark tents. The included chair adds comfort for longer sessions. It suits users who want quick setup and easy storage after use.
Who should skip it
Skip this option if you prefer infrared heat over steam. This unit uses a 3L steamer, which requires filling water before each session. You might find the square shape less cozy than traditional dome designs. If you need red light therapy, look at the M-Single-Red variation instead. The tent relies on a fabric shell, so it does not retain heat as long as wood saunas. You will need to manage the water reservoir and empty it after use.
Verdict: This tent offers a practical, spacious steam experience with smart controls. It fits well in most home settings for users who value portability and visibility.
Key specs explained
Dimensions: 31" W x 31" D x 70" H
This footprint creates a square interior that fits comfortably in most bedrooms or living areas. The 70-inch height allows most adults to stand upright without hunching, which is a key comfort factor compared to shorter tents. You can fold it for storage when not in use, making it suitable for homes with limited space.
Control Type: Control panel, remote control
You can adjust settings directly on the unit or from a distance using the remote. This flexibility lets you change temperature or timer settings without leaving the warm interior. It adds convenience for users who prefer to stay relaxed during their session rather than reaching for buttons on the steamer base.
Heater Power: 3L steamer
The 3-liter water tank capacity determines how long the sauna can run before needing a refill. A larger tank generally supports longer sessions, reducing interruptions. This size is practical for standard home use, providing enough steam volume for a full sweat cycle without requiring constant monitoring or refilling during your workout.
Max Temperature: 9 heat levels
Nine distinct settings give you precise control over the intensity of your session. You can start with lower heat for gentle warming or increase it for deeper sweating. This range accommodates different tolerance levels, allowing you to customize the experience based on your comfort needs or specific fitness goals.
Design and Build Quality
The UNANEST sauna is a portable tent rather than a rigid wooden structure. According to the listing, the exterior is black and the unit weighs 19 pounds. This light weight makes it easy to move between rooms. You can set it up in your bedroom, living room, or bathroom. The square shape measures 31 inches wide by 31 inches deep and stands 70 inches high. This footprint fits well in standard residential spaces. The height allows most adults to sit or stand comfortably inside. The design includes a waterproof folding chair for added convenience during your session.
A key feature is the fully transparent front door. Unlike traditional opaque sauna tents, this clear view allows more light in, reducing the feeling of being enclosed. A double zipper ensures easy access in and out. The unit comes with a 3-liter steamer that heats up quickly. You can adjust the temperature and session time using either the control panel or the included remote control. The listing notes dry-burn protection and anti-leakage safety features to ensure stable performance. The black finish and foldable design make storage simple when you are not using it. This setup is ideal for those who want a customizable home spa experience without permanent installation.
Setup and Daily Use Guide
You can set up this sauna without complicated assembly. The listing notes that it is lightweight and foldable, weighing 19 pounds. This design allows you to move it easily between your bedroom, living room, or bathroom. You simply unfold the structure to create the full-size square interior. The tent includes a waterproof folding chair for seating during your session.
Once assembled, you fill the 3-liter steamer tank with water. The unit heats via steam, utilizing a high-performance generator. You can adjust the temperature across 9 heat levels. Control is handled through both a control panel on the unit and a remote control. This dual control method lets you customize your session without leaving the tent. The transparent front door features a double zipper for easy entry and exit. This design choice aims to provide a brighter, less enclosed feeling compared to opaque sauna tents.
For daily use, the steamer produces steam quickly to reduce waiting time. Safety features include dry-burn protection and anti-leakage mechanisms. These specs suggest stable performance during operation. You can sit or stand comfortably inside the 31-inch by 70-inch space. After your session, you can fold the tent back down for storage. The portable nature means you do not need a permanent installation. You can store it away when not in use, keeping your living space clear. The control panel and remote allow you to start and stop sessions precisely.
Before You Buy This Sauna
You should verify that your floor can support the unit and handle steam moisture. The listing includes a waterproof folding chair, but you may want a separate towel rack or stool if you prefer not to sit on the provided seat. Ensure you have access to a standard electrical outlet near your chosen setup location. Since this is a tent design, you must check for adequate ceiling height in your room to accommodate the 70-inch height. The 3-liter steamer requires regular refilling with water, so keep a jug nearby for convenience. You will need to wipe down the interior after each use to prevent mildew. This model fits best if you want a portable option that does not require permanent installation. It contrasts with rigid saunas by offering easy storage. Consider your available space carefully before purchasing.
Check before you buy
- Check room ceiling height is above 70 inches
- Ensure floor is moisture-resistant near the setup area
- Verify nearby electrical outlet availability for the steamer
- Confirm you have space to store the folded tent
- Check that you can refill the 3L water tank easily
