Who it fits
Good fit for
This sauna suits users with limited space who want a portable steam experience. The 31x31x51 inch size fits well in bedrooms or small apartments. The included folding chair makes it comfortable for seated sessions. The remote control adds convenience by letting you adjust settings without breaking the steam seal. The foldable design and storage bag make it easy to pack away when not in use. It is ideal for those who prefer steam over dry heat.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you need a tall standing sauna. The 51-inch height limits standing room, so taller users may find it cramped. This model is steam-only, so it lacks infrared heating options. If you prefer dry heat or infrared technology, this unit is not suitable. The tent is designed for seated use, so those who want to stand or lie down will not find enough space. The basic control panel may feel limited compared to more advanced units.
Verdict: The Yesker Portable Steam Sauna offers a compact, steam-focused option for small spaces. Its foldable design and included chair make it practical for home use.
Key specs for this sauna
Dimensions: 31" W x 31" D x 51" H
This footprint creates a compact interior that fits into smaller rooms or apartments. The 51-inch height accommodates most seated users comfortably. You can sit inside without feeling cramped. This size is smaller than standard wooden saunas, making it ideal for renters or those with limited floor space. It offers a balance between portability and usable steam volume.
Heating Type: Steam
This unit uses water-based steam rather than dry heat. Steam penetrates muscles more deeply at lower temperatures, which can be easier on the heart. You generate moisture by boiling water in the included generator. This method is often preferred for respiratory relief and skin hydration compared to dry infrared or traditional wood-fired options.
Control Type: Remote
The included remote lets you adjust settings without breaking your relaxation. You can change temperature or timer functions while seated inside the tent. This adds convenience, especially in a warm, humid environment. You do not need to reach for buttons on the external generator. It simplifies the user experience during a session.
Features: Folding chair
A dedicated chair is included for seated use inside the tent. This ensures proper posture and prevents fatigue during longer sessions. You do not need to purchase a separate stool or bench. The chair folds for storage along with the sauna tent. This makes the entire set easier to manage in small living spaces.
Design and build overview
According to the listing, the sauna uses a five-layer heat-locking material. This construction includes reflective aluminum and thick thermal cotton. These layers are designed to reduce heat loss and keep steam warmth inside the tent. The exterior finish is black. Before You Buy This Sauna
You should check your electrical outlet before ordering. This unit requires a standard power connection for the steam generator. Ensure your bathroom or bedroom has a nearby grounded outlet to avoid using extension cords. The tent measures 31 by 31 by 51 inches. Verify that your space can accommodate this footprint when fully expanded. You will need to empty the water reservoir after each session. Keep a towel nearby to wipe condensation from the interior. This model sits alongside fixed saunas in our 1 product guide. It offers portability but lacks the heat retention of insulated wood units. If you travel or live in a small apartment, its foldable design is a practical advantage. The included remote control allows you to adjust settings without breaking the seal. However, the thin walls mean steam may escape if the zipper is not fully closed. Consider this trade-off between convenience and thermal efficiency when comparing it to other home options.
Check before you buy
- Check for a nearby grounded electrical outlet in your chosen room.
- Measure your space to ensure 31 by 31 by 51 inches fits comfortably.
- Confirm you can empty the water tank and wipe condensation easily.
- Decide if foldable convenience is more important than heat retention.
