ZONEMEL vs BNEHS Sauna Specs
Person Capacity
The ZONEMEL is designed for one person, with dimensions of 27.6 inches long, 31.5 inches wide, and 37.8 inches high. This compact footprint fits easily in small rooms or closets. The BNEHS supports one to two people, measuring 47.3 inches long, 39.4 inches wide, and 74.8 inches high. Its larger interior allows you to share the experience or sit more comfortably. If you need space for a partner, the BNEHS is the clear choice. For solo users in tight quarters, the ZONEMEL saves floor space.
Max Temperature
Temperature control differs between the two units. The BNEHS heats up to 65 degrees Celsius, which is approximately 149 degrees Fahrenheit. The ZONEMEL reaches a maximum of 60 degrees Celsius, or 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Both provide effective infrared heat for relaxation and detoxification. The BNEHS offers a slightly higher peak temperature, which may appeal to users who prefer intense heat sessions. The difference is modest, but the BNEHS has a slight edge for those seeking the highest possible warmth within the specified limits.
Heating Speed
The BNEHS highlights a fast preheat time of just ten minutes. This allows you to start your session quickly without long waits. The ZONEMEL does not specify a preheat duration in its published data. It uses three carbon heating panels and a separate foot pad with a total power output of 1050 watts. While the wattage is substantial, the lack of a stated speed metric makes direct comparison difficult. The BNEHS provides a clear advantage here due to its documented rapid heating capability, which is convenient for busy schedules.
Portability
The ZONEMEL is a portable tent made of fabric, designed to fold up for storage or transport. It includes a carry strap, making it easy to move or take on trips. The BNEHS is a heavy wooden structure weighing 355 pounds. It is delivered in three packages and intended for permanent indoor placement. You cannot fold or move the BNEHS easily. If you need a sauna you can pack away or move between rooms, the ZONEMEL is the only viable option. The BNEHS is a fixed installation.
Build Material
Construction materials define the feel and maintenance of each unit. The BNEHS is crafted from Canadian Hemlock wood with 8mm tempered glass doors. It is ETL, CE, and GS certified, ensuring safety and durability. The ZONEMEL is a fabric tent structure. It lacks the solid wood build of the BNEHS. Fabric requires wiping down after use to prevent odors, whereas wood is generally easier to maintain. The BNEHS offers a more traditional, sturdy sauna experience. The ZONEMEL prioritizes lightweight convenience over permanent build quality.
Extra Features
Each sauna includes unique add-ons. The ZONEMEL comes with a heated foot pad and a foldable chair. This provides targeted warmth for your feet and a place to sit. The BNEHS includes chromotherapy lighting and an oxygen device for air purification. It also features a 2-in-1 door handle that holds your phone. The ZONEMEL focuses on physical comfort with heat and seating. The BNEHS focuses on ambiance and air quality. Both sets of features enhance the experience, but they serve different preferences, resulting in a tie.
