Benovo vs Amocane Spec Comparison
Heating Type
Benovo uses a 220V electric stove to generate steam, creating a traditional humid heat experience. The 8KW Harvia heater requires significant power and time to warm the large cedar structure. Amocane uses carbon fiber panels for far-infrared dry heat. This method warms your body directly without heating the air first. It reaches 140°F in just eight minutes. You will not get the wet, steamy environment of a traditional sauna with Amocane. Instead, you get a dry, gentle heat that is easier on the respiratory system. The choice depends on whether you prefer classic steam or modern infrared warmth.
Placement
Benovo is designed specifically for outdoor installation. It features a weatherproof sloped roof and a raised floor to prevent moisture damage from rain or ground contact. The Canadian Cedar construction is built to withstand extreme weather conditions for year-round backyard use. Amocane is an indoor-only portable tent. It is not weather-resistant and must be kept inside a climate-controlled room. You cannot place it outside. If you have a dedicated backyard space and want a permanent structure, Benovo is the only option. If you need a unit for a bedroom or living room, Amocane is the correct choice.
Person Capacity
Benovo accommodates 6 to 8 people comfortably. Its dimensions are approximately 78.7 inches by 78.7 inches with a height of 96.5 inches. This large footprint allows multiple users to sit or lie down simultaneously, making it suitable for families or social gatherings. Amocane is a personal sauna tent. Its interior dimensions are 31.5 inches by 31.5 inches with a height of 62.9 inches. This space is tight and designed for one person only. You cannot share this unit. If you plan to sauna with a partner or family members, Benovo offers the necessary room. For solo relaxation, Amocane is sufficient.
Wood Type
Benovo is constructed from premium Canadian Cedar. This wood is chosen for its natural thermal properties, which ensure efficient heat retention. It also provides a soothing, aromatic environment that enhances the sauna experience. The exterior is painted white, while the interior retains the natural cedar look. Amocane does not use wood. It is a fabric tent made of synthetic materials. While this makes it lightweight and portable, it lacks the thermal mass and scent of cedar. The fabric design also means it does not retain heat as effectively as a wooden structure between sessions. The material choice fundamentally changes the feel and durability of the unit.
Portability
Amocane is highly portable. You can assemble it within minutes without tools. It is designed to be moved from one room to another easily, allowing you to use it in different spaces as needed. It folds up for storage. Benovo is a permanent, heavy structure. While it comes with pre-cut and pre-drilled components for easier assembly, it is not designed to be moved regularly. Once installed, it stays in place. If you rent your home or frequently rearrange your living space, Amocane offers flexibility. If you own a home and want a fixed installation, Benovo is the standard choice.
Features
Benovo includes a Harvia electric stove, lava rocks, a bucket and ladle, and a thermometer. It is a complete steam sauna kit ready for traditional bathing rituals. Amocane includes a remote control, a foldable chair, and a heated foot pad. The remote allows you to adjust settings without exiting the tent. The foot pad adds targeted warmth. Benovo lacks electronic controls for the stove in the data, relying on manual operation. Amocane lacks the traditional sauna accessories like rocks and ladles. The feature sets cater to different bathing styles: traditional steam versus modern infrared convenience.
