Who it fits

Sauba Key Specs Explained

Dimensions: 2.6’ x 2.6’ x 5.9’

This footprint provides a square base that fits into most rooms without dominating the floor space. The height allows you to sit or stand inside, accommodating adults of various sizes. You can place it in a bedroom or spare corner. Compare this size to larger cabin saunas if you need room for two people. This compact shape is ideal for apartments or small homes where floor area is limited.

Control Type: Remote control

You can adjust settings without opening the tent or reaching inside the steam environment. This keeps the heat contained and maintains a consistent temperature during your session. It adds convenience if you are seated on the included folding chair. Look for this feature if you prefer not to handle wet buttons. It simplifies operation compared to manual dials or touch panels located on the unit itself.

Heating Type: Steam

This unit generates moist heat rather than dry infrared warmth. Steam penetrates muscles and joints differently, which many users prefer for relaxation and skin hydration. It requires a water reservoir and produces visible vapor. Compare this to infrared saunas if you dislike humidity or have respiratory sensitivities. Steam therapy is traditional and works well for detoxification and improving circulation after a long day.

Placement: Indoor

This sauna is designed specifically for use inside your home. It is not built to withstand rain, wind, or direct sunlight. Ensure you have a dry, level surface to prevent water damage to your flooring. This restriction means you cannot leave it in a garage or patio uncovered. It offers a controlled environment for consistent performance. Always check ventilation requirements to manage humidity levels in your room during use.

Design and Build Overview

The listing describes this unit as a portable steam sauna with a black finish. It is constructed from high-density waterproof fabric that also provides heat insulation. This material choice helps retain warmth during your session. The bottom layer is similarly waterproof and noted as easy to clean. These materials suggest the tent is durable for indoor home use while managing moisture effectively.

Inside, the layout measures 2.6 by 2.6 by 5.9 feet. This square footprint allows you to sit or stand comfortably. A waterproof folding chair is included to enhance your seating experience. The interior also features a built-in waterproof pocket for storing small items. A large transparent window panel is present to reduce claustrophobia and allow natural light. You can stick your head out for air at any time without breaking the seal.

Control is handled via a remote control for convenient operation. The steamer includes anti-dry burning and anti-leakage functions for safety. According to the listing, the unit is designed for simple installation and folding. This compact storage capability means it occupies very little space when not in use. The design prioritizes practical home integration and easy management of your steam therapy routine.

Setup and Daily Operation Details

Setting up this unit requires minimal effort. The listing describes a simple installation process that you can complete without specialized tools. Once assembled, you place the sauna in an indoor location. The design allows you to fold it down for storage. This feature ensures it occupies very little space when not in use. You can store it easily in a closet or corner.

Daily operation relies on the included remote control. You use this device to manage the steam generator settings. The generator offers nine levels of intensity. This range lets you adjust the heat output to your preference. The steamer includes anti-dry burning and anti-leakage functions. These safety features help maintain stable operation during your session.

While inside, you can sit on the waterproof folding chair or stand. The tent includes a large transparent window. This panel lets in natural light. It also helps reduce feelings of confinement. You can stick your head out for fresh air at any time. A built-in waterproof pocket is available for storing small items like a phone or towel. The bottom material is waterproof and easy to clean. You can wipe it down quickly after use. The high-density fabric retains heat effectively. This insulation keeps the steam contained within the tent. You get a consistent environment throughout your session.

Before You Buy This Sauna

You need a standard indoor electrical outlet nearby. The steamer requires water, so keep a pitcher within reach. You should also have a towel ready for post-session cleanup. The bottom is waterproof, but wiping it down after each use prevents mineral buildup. This model is strictly for indoor placement. Do not use it outside or in damp areas like bathrooms with high humidity. The remote control adds convenience, but you must ensure your living space has enough room for the 2.6 by 2.6 foot footprint. It sits alongside larger cabin saunas as a budget-friendly, space-saving option. If you need quick setup and easy storage, this tent fits your needs. If you prefer traditional dry heat or outdoor durability, look elsewhere. Check your ceiling height to ensure the 5.9-foot height works for your space. This unit is best for those who want portable steam therapy without permanent installation.

Check before you buy

• Verify you have a standard indoor power outlet nearby.
• Ensure your room has a 2.6 by 2.6 foot clear space.
• Check that your ceiling height exceeds 5.9 feet.
• Confirm you are comfortable with steam, not dry heat.
• Make sure you have a towel for post-session cleanup.
